How’s your 2017 summer wardrobe coming along? One thing’s for sure, if it isn’t up to scratch, there will be no chance of you attracting all the cute girls on the beach this year.

So, if you haven’t even considered your summer style yet, now is the time to figure it out before it gets too late and you hit the streets in last year’s looks.

Not too sure what’s hot in menswear this year? No worries; I’ve got your back. I’ve scoured through countless men’s fashion magazines and watched a few different catwalks to figure out what is going to be hot this summer. So, if you want to be as hot as the weather this year, you will need to update your wardrobe so that it has some of these very chic styles in it!

Pink Is Still Big

Pink has been fashionable in menswear for a few years already now. In fact, it is so popular, this trend doesn’t seem to be dying out anytime soon!

And this summer, it looks like it is going to become stronger than ever. You might like to pick up a few pink T-shirts next time you are out shopping! But there are plenty of more inspired ways to wear this trendy shade. First of all, how about wearing a full linen suit all in pink?

It’s a brave look to pull off, but if you can, you will look like you have just stepped off the catwalk. And that will make all the girls notice you! Alternatively, those who aren’t feeling so brave might like to stick to some pink chinos.

Stone Becomes A Big Player

Feeling bored of wearing all that pink already? Well, you could stick to this season’s other hot color - stone. This is perfect for all the men out there who can never decide between wearing white or beige. Stone is the perfect blend of both of these colors, so you don’t have to make that difficult choice!

As stone featured heavily on many catwalks, there is a very good chance that it will be everywhere in high street stores soon. It will go with any type of denim and is perfect for the hot weather as it doesn’t absorb so much heat from the sun.

Casual Trumps Formal

Some seasons we see formal looks are a lot more popular than casual trends. However, that isn’t the case this year as it’s all about keeping your look chilled out.

That’s probably why sport and leisurewear brands such as Adidas originals clothing are so big. So, it’s a good idea to get a few sports pieces for your wardrobe. And then you can be sure that you are never too dressed up for those sunny days out!

Square Up To Patterns

Patterns tend to come and go as often as the tide changes, and the incoming pattern for this season is squares. And I’m talking about a big variety of squares!

You might want to wear a pair of chequered trousers or wear a jacket with some large window-frame style squares. However you wear your squares this year won’t really matters - what does matter is that you wear them as often as possible as this is set to be on of the biggest looks for the next few months!

Pajamas Become Daywear

Did you ever think you would see the day when pajamas became daywear? Well, you may be surprised to hear that the day has come! But that doesn’t mean that you can just laze around in your PJs all day. In fact, daywear is taking inspiration from PJs so expect to see a lot of shirts and trousers that look like pajamas.

That means you will see a lot more clothing that uses piping as a pattern. Don’t worry, though; this doesn’t mean that these clothes are going to look ultra-casual. On the contrary in actual fact! You will start to see these pajama-inspired shirts and trousers worn by the rich and famous in the most exclusive of venues and events. So why not join them?

Even though I have mentioned that these are going to be big summer trends, I’m sure that most of these will last for the entire year. Things like PJ-inspired clothing and stone-colored items will certainly continue to be popular until well into the next season. So, don’t see as shopping as a waste of money. See it as investing in key pieces that will see you through a few fashion seasons!
