Why Knowing What You Want Makes You Attractive

Knowing what you want makes you attractive. There are many reasons for this. To begin with, we must understand what we mean by ‘knowing what you want.’ It’s not always apparent. After all, sometimes we don’t know what we want, and must find out through experiencing the unknown.

However, sometimes in the world of dating, and personal relationships, it can be very beneficial to keep this targeted state of mind.

What are these benefits? Well, read on and find out.

You Become Exciting

When you always look forward, you become someone who enjoys finding things out. Knowing what you want might not be knowing exactly what you want, but rather knowing what experience you’d like to have.

For example, let’s say you’re on a date. Instead of simply asking him or her to dictate the parameters of the date, being exciting and heading on an adventure, or simply taking their hand and leading them can sweep that person you’re courting off their feet. We all respect the person in the movie who seems to cherish adventure, pushing forward to see what’s on the horizon.

When dating someone, we’re often mystified by this courage and curiosity regarding the world. It’s one of the most engaging things we can be exposed to in these circumstances, so why not be someone who radiates this virtue?

It Keeps Communication Sharp

No matter how handsome or in shape you are, you’ll have a difficult time attracting a partner if you’re unable to communicate effectively. So, this is a skill you should learn.

When you know what you want, you’re open to leading a conversation. A conversation is much more engaging when it’s direct, has a point and a purpose, and you keep open to all topics that are raised around that. Leading a conversation and asking questions from the perspective of pure curiosity can simply make for better dialogue between two people.

Of course, you’re not likely to experience the pure scripted nature of a movie, or the fun reactivity of calling party lines (at least not all the time,) but if you wish to experience better and more engaging conversations, this is a good place to start.

It Helps You Become The Focus

There’s something to be said for being the hero of your own story. In fact, that’s the only thing that matters. When you become the focus of your own life, you are much more able to exercise compassion.

You can serve other people life long, but without maintaining your own health, it won’t last for very long. For this reason, knowing what you want in regards to your own development can actually make that become a reality. From the get-go, this is one of the most important things to pin down.

It can also help you tremendously in all avenues of dating, friendships, forging new connections, experiencing new adventures, and having the confidence to do all of this with a smile.

Knowing what you want not only helps you orient yourself in the best possible way, but it’s really fun to be this way. Why not find out for yourself?
